Want to watch Formula 1 in Thailand? This guide covers the best ways to stream F1 in Thailand, subscription costs, sports bars, race schedules, and how to watch from anywhere.

The 2026 Formula 1 season opens in Australia on March 8, 2026, kicking off 22 races across five continents.

It is a global spectacle, and its broadcasting rights are spread across different networks around the world.

You can also watch it in Thailand. Whether you are here as a tourist or live here as an expat, there are many places you can go to watch the F1 2026 season.

You can also watch it online from anywhere at your place.

Here’s a complete guide to what you need to know to watch the Formula 1 2026 season in Thailand.

Key Takeaways

  • The cheapest way to watch F1 in Thailand (and anywhere in the world) is to use Surfshark VPN. Prices start at only US$1.99 per month on the 2-year plan. Change your location to the USA within Surfshark and watch via ABC or another free broadcaster.
  • With Surfshark, you can also access other geo-restricted content and get additional cybersecurity.
  • In addition to that, you can also access your home country bank accounts if they have geo-restrictions.
  • If you don’t want to use a VPN, subscribe to beIN SPORTS CONNECT to watch F1 in Thailand. It costs THB349 per month (THB3,490 per year).
  • If you live in Thailand long-term, the TrueVisions NOW SPORT package covers all F1 races for THB499 per month, with Thai-language commentary available.
  • beIN SPORTS renewed its exclusive F1 broadcasting rights across 10 Asian territories, including Thailand, through the 2030 season.
  • Many sports bars in Thailand also stream F1 2026. Check their social media or website first for their streaming schedule.
  • The 2026 season has 22 races. The Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix were cancelled, and Australia now opens the season in March.

TV Package

beIN SPORTS has the legal right to broadcast the Formula 1 2026 season in Thailand. There are two ways you can watch it directly from your television.

beINSPORTS

Commentary: English

Cost: THB349 per month (THB3,490 per year)

You can subscribe to beIN SPORTS CONNECT directly from their website. It costs THB349 per month or THB3,490 per year.

After subscribing, download the beIN SPORTS CONNECT app to your phone, computer, or smart TV and watch from there.

With it, you can watch from your phone, computer, and TV.

Please note that to watch beIN SPORTS on your TV, you need to download their mobile application to your phone first. Then there’s a TV login option to log in to your account on the TV.

In February 2026, beIN SPORTS renewed its exclusive Formula 1 broadcasting rights across 10 Asian territories, including Thailand, through the 2030 season, so beIN remains the only authorised F1 stream in Thailand for the foreseeable future.

In addition to Formula 1 2026, you can also watch La Liga, Serie A, and UEFA Champions League with it.

TrueVisions

Commentary: Thai/English

Cost: THB499/month (NOW SPORT package)

TrueVisions is the biggest TV broadcaster in Thailand. Their streaming platform, TrueVisions NOW, carries Formula 1 2026 on the NOW SPORT package.

The NOW SPORT package costs THB499 per month and gives you access to beIN SPORTS channels plus Thai-language commentary on selected races. A 2-screen option is available at THB699 per month.

TrueVisions NOW works as an app-based service, so you can watch on your phone, tablet, or smart TV.

Please note that TrueVisions NOW packages and pricing are subject to change. Contact their support or visit their website for the latest options. If you’re also looking at home internet, TrueVisions offers bundles that pair their NOW service with an internet plan in Thailand.

Online Streaming

If you subscribe to beIN SPORTS CONNECT or TrueVisions NOW, you can watch F1 directly through their apps and websites on any device. Make sure you have a stable connection; a good Thai SIM card helps if you plan to stream on mobile data.

There are also other streaming options for the Formula 1 2026 season if you are outside Thailand or using a VPN:

  • Sky Go: For fans in the UK, catch every race on Sky Sports.
  • ESPN: US-based fans can follow F1 live on ESPN.

Note: F1 TV Pro and F1 TV Premium are not available for subscription in Thailand. US viewers now access F1 content through Apple TV (US$12.99/month).

Please note that there are geo-restrictions if you watch these broadcasters from abroad, so you will need a VPN in Thailand for it.

Watch Formula 1 Online for Free

If you do not want to subscribe to paid services, you can watch F1 from these broadcasters for free. You still need a VPN service to bypass geo-restriction.

Broadcasters

  • ABC: USA (English commentary)
  • RTBF: Belgium (French commentary)*
  • ServusTV: Austria (German commentary)*
  • 10play: Australia (English commentary — Australia GP only)
  • Channel 4: UK (English commentary — British GP only)

You can turn on BBC Radio 5 Live to listen to English commentary.

To bypass geo-restrictions, the easiest option is a VPN in Thailand. Connect to a server in the US or UK and access free F1 broadcasts from those countries.

Surfshark offers plans starting at US$1.99 per month on a 2-year Starter subscription. Connect to a US server and watch via ABC or another free broadcaster. Read our Surfshark VPN review for the full breakdown.

F1 redbull
With a VPN, you can watch F1 from anywhere in the world.

What you need to do is subscribe to their service, install an app, choose a server, and go to a broadcaster’s website. That’s it.

In addition to Surfshark, you can use NordVPN and ExpressVPN. You can check the cost of living in Thailand to see how these subscriptions fit your monthly budget.

We don’t recommend using any free VPN service because of speed limits and security loopholes.

Sports Bar

If you do not want to watch Formula 1 2026 online at home, you can watch it at many sports bars throughout Thailand. These venues regularly stream F1 on race weekends. As long as the race doesn’t clash with the English Premier League, chances are they will have it on.

Before heading there, contact the venue in advance to confirm they are streaming F1 that weekend. You might also enjoy catching Muay Thai while you’re out.
