In Part Four of the Thai Alphabet Cartoon, the ท.ทหาร (soldier) left off with, “Oh no! Mates! Run away, quick!”
Characters making an appearance this round: ภ.สำเภา (boat), ม.ม้า (horse), ย.ยักษ์ (giant) and good ‘ole ก.ไก่ (chicken).
And now to part five…
เมื่อ พ่อ ก.ไก่ ร่ำลา ทุก คน แล้ว 
mêua pôr gor gài râm-laa tóok kon láew
Afterwords, Father Chicken says goodbye to everybody…
ก็ ออก เดินทาง ตาม หา พระ อาทิตย์ ต่อไป 
gôr òk dern-taang dtaam hăa prá aa-tít dtòr-bpai
…he sets off to look for the sun…
จนกระทั่ง มา ถึง ชาย ฝั่งทะเล 
jon-grà-tâng maa tĕung chaai fàng-tá-lay
…until he reaches the seashore.
พ่อ ก.ไก่ แล เห็น ภ.สำเภา ลอย ลำ อยู่ ที่ ท่าเรือ 
pôr gor gài lae hĕn por săm-pao loi lam yòo têe tâa-reua
Father Chicken sees a boat at the pier.
จึง ตัดสินใจ ลง เรือ สำเภา
jeung dtàt-sĭn-jai long reua săm-pao
He decides to get on the boat…
และ ขอร้อง ให้ ลม ช่วย พัด ใบเรือ เพื่อ ข้าม ทะเล ไป ยัง อีก ฝั่ง 
láe kŏr-róng hâi lom chûay pát bai-reua pêua kâam tá-lay bpai yang èek fang
…and asks the wind to blow the boat to the other side of the sea.
เมื่อ ถึง อีก ฝั่ง พ่อ ก.ไก่ ก็ ได้ พบ กับ ม.ม้า ใจ อารีย์ 
mêua tĕung èek fàng pôr gor gài gôr dâai póp gàp mor máa jai aaree
When he reaches the other side, Father Chicken meets a kind horse…
และ ได้ เล่า ให้ ฟัง ถึง ความจำเป็น ที่ จะ ต้อง เดินทาง มา
láe dâai lâo hâi fàng kwaam-jam-bpen têe jà dtông-dern taang maa
…and tells his reasons for travelling there.
(ม.ม้า) “ท่าน ช่าง กล้าหาญ ซะ จริงๆ แต่ ท่าน คงจะ ยัง ไม่ รู้ ว่า 
(mor máa) “tâan châang glâa-hăan sá jing-jing dtàe tâan kong-jà yang mâi róo wâa
The Horse says, “You are really brave. But you probably don’t know…
ดินแดน ที่ ท่าน กำลัง จะ ได้ พบ เนี่ย เป็น ดิน แดน ของ เจ้า ย.ยักษ์ ใจร้าย” 
din-daen têe tâan gam-lang jà dâai póp nîa bpen din-daen kŏng jâao yor yák jairáai”
…that the land you’re coming to, is the land of the heartless giant”.
(พ่อ ก.ไก่) “ถึงยังไง ข้า ก็ ต้อง ผ่าน ไป ให้ ได้ 
(pôr gor gài) “tĕung-yang-ngai kâa gôr dtông pàan bpai hâi dâai
Father Chicken says, “Whatever happens, I need to do it…
ท่าน พอ จะ แนะนำ อะไร ให้ ข้า ได้ บ้าง”
tâan por jà náe-nam à-rai hâi kâa dâai bâang”
