So there really is a Thai Alphabet Song…
This article was originally posted on WomenLearnThai.com.
In a previous post, The Thai Alphabet Poem, I made the comment that it was more of a poem than a song. But after skimming through YouTube…
This is a relatively new video (appeared after I wrote this post) but it’s by far the most popular of all. Since becoming a hit, they’ve added ads. Apologies.
BBC: A video of a three-year-old boy from south Wales reciting the Thai alphabet has clocked up more than two million views in a matter of days on YouTube. Dylan Hall, who was born in Thailand and now lives in Caerleon, is a particular hit in Thailand and has more than 88,000 “likes” on Facebook.
Isn’t she just the sweetest thing?
And here it all comes together via a kids cartoon (something I should have had before translating the Thai Alphabet Poem in the previous post, but hey).
Sounds like singing to me… you?
And I’m thinking… that if they can do it… so can we. Yes?
Additional YouTube sweeties…
As always, enjoy!
Aren’t they great? I keep finding more each time as parents post their children singing the alphabet song.
I’ve still yet to find the Alphabet Song on CD (I forgot to look while at Chula Book Store). But when I do, I’ll post it here.
Thank you so much for these videos! I’ve got this post starred in my reader so I can come back at any time to show my son Aidan. He loves the cartoon the best and I think it’s a great learning tool.
